Who We Are

ITA is a team of global accountants and attorneys, each handpicked for their individual expertise and area of practice. ITA is led by Drew R. Edwards, CPA who spent the majority of his career working within the Big 4 accounting firms as an international tax consultant.

Utilizing more than a decade of relationships formed with the brightest people in the accounting and finance industry, Mr. Edwards has built a team of specialists both inside and outside of the United States.

How We Are Different

Mr. Edwards believes that not having to pay more tax than you owe should be a concept available to more than just the Fortune 500 and enjoys creating value for small and medium-sized businesses through tax savings.

International Tax Advisors, Inc. differentiates itself by providing practical solutions to complex tax law. Rather than discuss the hypothetical benefits of a certain structure or planning concept, ITA puts a number on it. By including easy-to-understand Excel spreadsheets, we can review what future tax will be paid under various scenarios.

Drew R. Edwards, CPA

Managing Owner

Mr. Edwards is a CPA with more than 16 years of international tax experience. Before founding ITA, Mr. Edwards served both public and private clients as a Senior Manager with KPMG.

As Managing Owner of ITA, Mr. Edwards advises clients on a variety of international tax matters, such as mergers and acquisitions, use of offshore vehicles such as trusts, doing business in the U.S., and real estate specific transactions.

Mr. Edwards also advises U.S.-based individuals and businesses on operating abroad, including Subpart F and GILTI tax implications, foreign tax credits, tax treaties, estate tax, etc.

Increasing after-tax profits of individuals and businesses through tax planning and global tax strategy is the focus of every engagement for Mr. Edwards.
